What kinds of food do they eat?
Rice is very important in Madagascar. It is a very popular food and is served with many dishes. Malagasy people drink the water in which the rice was boiled in. Seafood and meats are popular there. Ro is a dish with pork and beef marinated in vinegar, water, and oil. it is then cooked with leaves, onions, pickles, and other vegetables. To top it off you then season it with pimento. Ramazava is a dish of leaves and pieces of beef and pork browned in oil. The dish also contains rice and sometimes various herbs and shrimp. Ramazava is commonly eaten with kitoza. Kitoza is long slices of smoked, cured, or fried meat. Koba is another food, it is a small serving most of the time. Koba is rice paste with bananas and peanuts.
